Graph of the Visible Spectrum
The picture above shows the optical spectrum in wavelength.
The visible spectrum and color range is shown with a break-out for each
color and its wavelength.
The visible spectrum runs between 0.37 to 0.57um, although the Near Inferred is shown as well.
Light produced by LEDs;
Blue: 470nm
Green: 525nm
Orange: 590nm
Red: 630nm
The primary reason for including the spectrum graph was to support the pages relating to LEDs and Sensors.
Standard LED Colors: White, Amber, Blue, Green, Orange, Red. Semiconductor Material vs. LED Color
Note that incandescent lights and fluorescent lights output a different light spectrum. Also refer to Sensor Manufacturers and vendors. The graph shows light intensity over wavelength for both incandescent & fluorescent lights. | Light Bulb Wavelength Output |
